Lead Pastor EJ Rouse is the Planting Pastor of Bridge Pointe. EJ has a vision to see a thriving and healthy church in the Climax area that is making the connection between Jesus Christ and Man. Along with his family, wife Tiffany and two boys Jake and Cole, and several other families, they are looking to make a difference in the community. EJ leaves a church where he was on staff for five and half years to plant Bridge Pointe. This is his vision, this is his calling, and he can hardly wait to see what will happen. A Word from the Pastor Hello Community, My name is EJ and I am so excited about coming to your community in the southeast part of Guilford Co. and the northeast part of Randolph Co. I have been dreaming about this new church in your area for right at 2 years. I look forward to meeting many of you in the area and serving you as a community. Bridge Pointe is going to be all about Christ and People. Many people want to make a connection somewhere. They want to belong and feel wanted. At Bridge Pointe we are going to help make that connection for people to God. We want to see life changes in people, families, and our community. I believe if we could connect men to God, they will connect to their families, and those families will connect together in the community. My desire for your life is that you will give us a try. Be looking and listening this summer for our first "Hello Party" in the community of Climax, and this fall we will begin our launch group meeting each week. I want to share with you exactly what a launch group meeting is. Starting early fall (2008) the leadership (core group) of Bridge Pointe and as many of the community people who will come, will begin to meet once a week. We will plan and be designing what Bridge Pointe will look like. We want your input on what you want and what you think this community needs in a new church. We have an overall vision of what God wants to do here in Climax but we need you for the details. You matter to us and we need to know what you need. Please, if you can and will, make plans to visit with us once we start meeting. Check our calander and be listening. I promise you will hear about Bridge Pointe coming this summer. There is something new coming! WHY? You will have to come and find out!

Bridge Pointe is Here!!!!
I am so excited about our first Launch Group with the community coming up this Sunday. Our Leadership team has been incredible over these past few months but now we are stoked about seeing the community of Climax getting involved in Bridge Pointe. I can't rave enough about how great our Leadership Team is. They are the best. I can't really say what God is going to do with BPC (Bridge Pointe Church) but I do know that he as built a strong foundation of leaders. I can only dream about the church God is going to build on that foundation. Starting this Sunday January 11th at 10am we will have our first Launch team meeting. We have and will continue to invite the community of Climax to join during this time. God has provided a great place to meet at the Rockin "F" Farms there in Climax. Please feel free to join us and join in the excitement. There are so many things I could share but I will just leave you with this one last thought. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT GOD IS GOING TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!

The time has Come!!!!
Well guys Bridge Pointe is now reality. I am so pumped but scared to death as well. I woke up Monday morning realizing I am now the pastor of a church that I, along with my core team, am suppose to make happen. I just told God it's all yours. I can't and won't do this if you are not leading the way. Still a bit scared but man how excited am I. I know our core team is pumped to. I spent some time with a couple of them on Monday and all seem to have that look that moms and dads get when the new child arrives. Bridge Pointe Is Coming!!!!
I am getting excited about what is going to happen in the next few months in the life of Bridge Pointe. It is like having your first child. It scares me to death but I am so excited that I am giddy! I remember having my first son Jake. My wife and I were laying in the hospital room the night after Jake was born and that is when it hit me. With my new born son laying at the foot of the bed I realized that I have to take this child home and take care of him. That is the same feeling I have now. This new adventure we call Bridge Pointe is about to start and I have been called to lead it. Thank God he doesn't leave me all alone but gives me help through a core leadership team. Can't wait to introduce them to all of you. Well keep us in your prayers we will need it. Cant wait to tell you more about Bridge Pointe.
